this has been the single most controversial post I’ve ever made and it’s literally just saying drug users deserve food lmao
All food service workers should 100% be entitled to free ass meals on the job. Not discounted, not half off. Free.
Ok then, by that logic, all cops shouldn’t have to go to jail.
Also if everybody who works there gets free food. Who’s paying for it?
Clearly not logic.
That doesn’t track at all, as eating is not criminal, but anything that would get you put in jail would be. A person eating food is obviously not endangering anyone and therefore the scenarios are not comparable at all. I believe that this is a logical fallacy called the false equivalency.
In most cases it would be the customers who are paying for it. Most fast food locations especially charge such huge mark-up for their products compared to the cost of the ingredients, especially for soft drinks, that providing employees one free meal per shift, within a certain price point, should easily be covered just under shrink allowances. This would obviously vary from chain to chain, but it is still possible.
So, yeah, seems logical to me.
Interestingly, it is the more expensive restaurants that often feed their employees. Because when people are laying down top dollar for a meal, the restaurant wants the server to be able to describe the food.
Cheap chain restaurants don’t because they really are cannibalizing off their employees. They pay their employees so little that the only place they can afford to eat are cheap chain restaurants. America has created a whole under paid class to support cheap stores and restaurants that don’t really have to do much to compete other than being cheaper than the next guy - which they accomplish by paying as little as possible. And that keeps the cycle going.

Hood meals
What’s the strangest meal you’ve ever made while yall ain’t have no food in the fridge ?
When I was younger and we didn’t have any food we’d make either a mayonnaise sandwich or have syrup and bread….it was bad lol
If you toast the bread the syrup ain’t so bad 😂😂 i remember doing that but mayo sandwiches nahhh I couldn’t
peanut butter on ice cream cones
Eggs on rice that shit was poppin
peanut butter in a flour tortilla
These are a favorite lol idk how yall like peanut butter so much but aight
Tortilla and shredded cheese in the microwave oh the memories
dead @ PB on ice cream cones
Breakfast and lunch should be free for all students in all public schools.
There is no counterpoint I am willing to entertain against this.
Not a counterpoint, but the food should also be edible and healthy. No pears and apples that are 90% mush, no bananas that have more brown than yellow, no undercooked meat, no wood chips in the fucking food, no moldy fruit, no brown lettuce, no meat that’s been left out too long.
Also, full meals. Not just three French toast sticks and a hash brown. Not two mozzarella sticks and some French fries. A full meal with fruit, protein, vegetables, grains, and dairy, depending on a persons allergies or other dietary factors.
These also aren’t just hypotheticals, btw, these are all things I’ve seen in public school cafeterias since starting school in kindergarten.
If I date you
I want to know you. I don’t mean your favorite color, food, and your middle name. I want to know those, too, but I mean, tell me about the time you broke your arm learning to ride a bike. Tell me the nightmares you have, the struggles you’ve dealt with, if you ever feel alone. Tell me if there’s a voice in your head that tells you “you’re not good enough”. Tell me your secrets, your thoughts, about your childhood, how you got that scar on your knee, if you sucked your thumb. Tell me about your first love and heartbreak. I want to know everything and I won’t settle for less.
Because if I date you, I want it to last. If I date you, I’m dating you for a reason.
I don’t want a racist making my food.
I don’t want a racist treating me in a hospital.
I don’t want a racist educating my kids.
I don’t want a racist working in my bank.
When I come across a racist, I will do everything I can to ruin their lives & make sure that when future employers Google their name the first thing that pops up is them calling someone a nigger & telling them to kill themselves.
So y’all can get the fuck out my inbox.
